Going somewhere I will drift away
A treasure that I'm searching for
Find some refuge in the fog and mist
On some long forgotten shore
Blue jay feather tucked inside a book
letters that I write each day
and if my pen - if it runs out of ink
I guess it means i'll have to stay
Heaven sweep me up
Heavy anchors from below
But somewhere i hear god saying
'here's where you should go'
drifting slowly in the idle winds
breathing in the salty air
i think i'm taking the long way round
But someday somewhere I'll get there
